my friend Phillip asked me to do his logo for him. he wanted it to be something he could use in business and on a day to day basis , such as letter heads, business cards etc.... he wanted it to incorporate the word blip, Durban city and the words business, lifestyle, investment and perfection. I used these words in the back ground. They are continuously going across the whole background.

working with in design just gets easier. I had to do a brochure and business card with in design, they had to be of a cooperate company. so I chose FNB. the first 4 pages are the brochure and the last 2 are the business card.

My first website

I had to create a website for my shadow brand prodige. This is what I came up with, I did the design in photoshop and the put it together in dream weaver.

Fast 5 movie poster

This past week I learned how to work with Indesign. The challenge was to make a poster for a movie that I like, and because I had watched Fast Five recently (and loved it) I decided to do my poster on it.

Light vs Dark photography

In our photography lecture this past week , our theme was light vs dark. these are my pictures that I have taken which I thought best depict the theme. The 3 which have people holding hands were taken in the studio at college. My models were Andrew and Spookie. The one of the feet were my friend Clinton's and my foot. That picture i took on the tarmac out side his workshop.

Comic Book Character Creation

For this project I had to take a minimum of 2 comic book characters and merge them into my own, 

I used the human torch, cannon ball and the riddler and came up with my own character called Green Inferno.

I had to come up with a business package so that i am able to run my business properly, later on this year it will be an assignment to run our own business for 2 or more months. this will be good experience for when i go out into the industry.

We( us 2nd year graphics students) had to create a shadow brand of an existing brand and produce a niche. this is a sting in the tail, like an unexpected change. i chose nike , my brand will have the same look and feel as nike, but i will not be doing everyday clothing and sports wear. i will be doing stuff you will find in the kitchen. eg, chefs jacket, butchers apron, oven gloves, lunch boxes etc....
